Veteran senior group leads Lady Eagles
Anchored by a good nucleus of eight returning seniors, Kendall is set to open the Genesee Region League girls soccer season at rival Holley at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers veteran contingent includes Grace Levett (Forward/Midfield), Alezya Brown (Forward/Defender), Kailie Regan (Goalie), Grace Robinson (Forward/Midfield), Julie Coble (Defender), T’Mia Kitchings (Defender/Midfield), Magdalena Aguirre (Defender/Midfield) and Hanna Broskin (Midfield/Forward).
Kitchings earned G-R All-Star honors last year while Regan and Robinson both received Honorable Mention.
The Lady Tigers are also looking for contributions from sophomore Megan Gates and freshman Ava Quintern.
“I’m optimistic. We’ve got a good nucleus back,” said Coach Pam Barchet whose Lady Eagles went 8-6-1 last year.
Kendall’s graduation losses included G-R All-Stars Madison Jacob (Midfield/Forward) and Brianna Wakefield (Midfield/Forward) along with Lizzy Woodams (Forward) and Kari Harrier (Defender/Midfield).
