Veteran quartet will lead Holley cagers
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Leading Holley into the upcoming basketball season will be this quartet of veterans Cody Tanis, AJ Drechsel, Kohl Morgan and Carson Major.
Led by a quartet of returning veterans, Holley is prepping for the December 2 non league season opener at Sodus.
Seniors Kohl Morgan, Carson Major and Cody Tanis along with junior AJ Drechsel will lead the way for the Hawks which are also counting on seniors Ryan Lang and Jake Norman along with sophomore Broek Ostrom.
“We’re looking to be competitive in every game and to show no quit,” said Coach Wil Prince.
The Hawks graduation losses from last year’s 4-17 team, include John Mounts, Matt Skehan, Matt Wilson and Matt Hahn.
Holley will open Genesee Region League competition at Oakfield-Alabama on December 10.
