Anchored by a quartet of veterans, Albion is prepping for the early starting Niagara-Orleans League tennis season which will see the Purple Eagles visiting Roy-Hart on April 3 and hosting Medina on April 5.

That veteran foursome includes senior Matt Kovaleski, juniors Josh Riley and Matt Rowcliffe and freshman Carson Bader.

Kovaleski earned first team N-O All-League honors last spring and Bader was an Honorable Mention selection.

The Purple Eagles graduation losses include first team N-O All-League honoree Victor Benjovsky, and Honorable Mention selections Elliott Neidert and Hailey Bader.

“It’s kind of wide open so we’ll have to see where things fall into place,” said Coach Jay Kovaleski. “The league looks to be pretty well spread out.”
