Urbanik helps hurl Team New Era to World Series title

Ed Urbanik, of Lyndonville recently teamed up with former major league pitcher Mike Hartley to hurl Team New Era to the Men’s Senior Baseball League World Series championship in Arizona.

The Urbanik/Hartley duo pitched Team New Era to a 13-3 victory over the Dallas Rangers in the finals.

Urbanik also pitched in the round robin portion of the series hurling Team New Era to a 4-3 victory over San Jose.

Overall Team New Era finished the week with a 7-1 record.
