Underclassmen dominate Roy-Hart’s field hockey lineup

Underclassmen dominate the lineup for the Roy-Hart varsity field hockey squad which returns a good nucleus of 10 veterans as the Lady Rams prep for Thursday’s Niagara-Orleans League opener at Wilson.
With Rielly Albee and Delany Draper serving as co-coaches this season, the Lady Rams underclassmen dominated returning contingent includes senior Cayla Burch; juniors Olivia Marsillo, Ava Achtyl and Abby Glyshaw; sophomores Violette Streckwald, Alayna Kowalski, Dillan Santella and Brooke Zglincki along with freshmen Savannah Newton and Adella Dukes.
The Lady Rams graduation losses included first team All League honoree Cheyenne Stillwell, second team selection Lorna Becker and Honorable Mention picks Isabella Santella and Madison Kelly.
Roy-Hart, which went 6-6 in N-O action last fall, will face Medina in the Lady Rams home opener on September 6.
