Underclassmen dominate All Orleans County girls basketball squad

The accent is definitely on youth as seven of the 10 honorees on the Hub’s All-Orleans County girls basketball squad are underclassmen.

The first team includes seniors Honesty Little (Albion) and Halee Passarell (Holley) along with juniors Ella Lewis (Lyndonville) and Libby Snyder (Kendall) and sophomore Lorelei Dillenbeck (Lyndonville).

Albion’s Honesty Little

Lewis and Synder both earned Genesee Region League All-Star honors.

Little led Albion in both scoring with 107 points (8.2 ave.) and rebounding with 135 as she also had 39 steals.

Passarell paced Holley in scoring with 80 points (8.8 ave.) and also had 67 rebounds and 26 steals.

Snyder topped Kendall in both scoring with 113 points (10.2 ave.) and rebounding with 127.

For Lyndonville, Lewis scored 127 points (12.7 ave.) and Dillenbeck 111 points (11.1 ave.).

The second team includes Albion’s junior trio of Abby Scanlan, Sydney Mulka and Aly Knaak along with Kendall junior Alezya Brown and Medina senior FaithAnn Vanderwalker.

Brown finished second on the Kendall squad in both scoring (82 points) and rebounding (87) while Scanlan led Albion in both steals (48) and assists (24) and was second in scoring (88 points).
