Undefeated Banes rallies to nip Jr Wilson

Rebounding from an early 3-0 deficit, Banes Machine Shop/Banes Plumbing rallied to edge past Jr Wilson 4-3 Monday evening to remain undefeated at 7-0 in Medina Women’s Softball League ‘A’ Division competition.
Jr Wilson scored once in the first inning and then twice in the second on an error to grab the early lead.
Banes began to rally with one run in the third inning on singles by Connie Heschke and Jen Masse and an error.
Banes then moved on top to stay by scoring three times in the fifth on hits by Patti Page, Heschke and Masse along with 2 errors.
Masse and Page both had 3 hits on the evening and Heschke 2.
Banes will next face runner-up Orleans Vets (5-1) next Monday at Jr. Wilson 1.
The loss drops Jr. Wilson to 3-4.
