Unbeaten Orchard Park downs RBM icers
The Roy-Hart/Barker/ Medina club hockey team dropped an 8-1 decision to undefeated (6-0) Orchard Park ‘A’ team at Buffalo’s Harbor Center Sunday evening in a Western New York High School Club League game.
The locals fell behind 1-0 in a well played first period. Orchard Park scored the next three goals in the second seriod before the lone goal for RBM was scored by Jason Kuchey (Roy-Hart), assisted by Matt Saj (Medina) and Joe DiBenedetto (Roy-Hart). That period ended with OP leading 5-1.
OP was led by the top scorer in the entire Club League, Liam McGowan, who had the hat trick.
This week, the RBM team has two games.visiting East Aurora/Holland on Tuesday and Depew on Wednesday.
In the White Division, RBM has a record of 0-1 (1-2 overall). East Aurora is a White Division opponent.
