Ukraine tops Medina FC in key soccer contest

In a key battle for second place, the Medina Mustangs FC dropped a 4-1 decision to Ukraine Sunday evening in a Buffalo District Soccer League Division 3 game at Vets Park.
The victory boosts Ukraine’s record to 7-1-1 while Medina slips into third place at 6-2-1 with just one game remaining in the regular season at Lake Shore next Sunday.
Peter Martillotta scored Medina’s goal on a penalty kick.
