U10 Division diamond playoff action
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Playoff action for the 10U Division of the Orleans County Short Season Baseball League got underway on Saturday at Sandstone Park. In semifinal action here Keon Russaw bangs out a hit for the Medina Blue team and Stryker Sanders delivers a pitch for St. Mary’s/Rotary. Those semifinals saw the Medina Blue edge St. Mary’s/Rotary and Medina Red trim Sandstone. In the title contest the Medina Blue and Red teams were tied at 6-6 at the end of six innings before play was suspended due to darkness. The contest is expected to be concluded at Medina early this week.
