Two Outlaws teams win Outlaws Classic titles

The host Orleans Outlaws captured a pair of titles at the Outlaws Classic baseball tournament held over the weekend at Kendall.

The Outlaws 10U team went 5-0 capped off by a come-from-behind 5-4 championship game win over the Finger Lakes Falcons.

Trailing 4-0, the Outlaws rallied for the win by scoring twice in both the fourth and fifth innings before getting the game winning run in walk off fashion in the sixth.

The Outlaws, which bested the HFLM Hawks 17-2 in the semifinals, advanced with pool play wins over the Hornets (5-1), Bomb Squad (11-0) and Falcons (9-3).

The Outlaws 9U team also captured a title downing the Outlaws 8U team in the finals 15-2.

The 9U team advanced to the finals by downing the Batavia Clippers 13-1, the Hamburg Dawgs Purple 14-2 and the Hamburg Dawgs Black 11-3.

The 8U team gained a spot in the finals by scoring wins over a trio of 9U teams including the Knights (13-4), Wellsville Wildcats (15-5) and Clippers (11-10).

The Outlaws 12U team went 4-1 dropping an 11-7 decision to the Batavia Clippers in the title contest.

The 12U team gained a spot in the finals by downing the Irondequoit Thunder 7-4 and 4-3, Bomb Squad 16-4 and Clippers 5-3.

The Outlaws 11U team went 3-2 and the 13U squad 2-1.
