Two local high school players, Roy-Hart’s Gavyn Boyle and Medina’s Brian Fry, have made decisions on where to continue their baseball careers at Division 1 colleges.

Boyle, who will be a junior at Roy-Hart this fall, has made a verbal commitment to continue his education and his baseball career at Virginia Commonwealth University a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Fry, who will be a senior at Medina this fall, has made a verbal commitment to continue his education and baseball career at Toledo University, a member of the Mid America Conference.

Boyle, who has been a three year varsity starter for the Rams, and Fry, who has been a four year starter for the Mustangs, both earned first team Niagara-Orleans League honors in 2019.
