Local duo earns All-State softball honors

Two local players have been named to the Class C All-State softball squad.
Lyndonville junior shortstop Ella Lewis has been named to the third team and Kendall junior outfielder Julie Coble to the fifth team.
Two other Genesee Region League players have also earned All-State honors. Byron-Bergen sophomore pitcher Kendall Phillips has been named to the Class C fifth team and Notre Dame freshman shortstop Katie Landers to the Class D second team.
No Niagara-Orleans League players were named to the All-State squad.
