Two former Medina cagers on area collegiate teams

Two Medina High graduates, Levi Pace and Dan ‘Munjie’ Brown, are continuing their basketball careers locally at the collegiate level.

Pace, a 2010 Medina grad, is a sophomore forward at SUNY College at Brockport, while Brown, a 2014 grad, is a freshman forward at Niagara County Community College.

Pace, a four-time first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honoree, and Medina’s all-time career scoring leader with 1,280 points, has played in six of seven games with one start for Brockport. He is averaging 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 points per game.

Brown, a four year varsity player for Medina, finished his scholastic career with 757 points. He earned first team N-O All-League honors his senior year when he averaged a double double (15.8 points, 11.9 rebounds. He has played in 10 of 14 games with one start for NCCC averaging 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 points per game.
