Trojans top Tigers in wrestling sectionals

Unable to overcome a huge 33 point deficit, Lyndonville dropped a 39-30 decision to visiting Alexander this evening in the quarterfinals of the Section V small schools team tournament.
Taking 9 of the first 10 bouts, Alexander build up an unbeatable 39-6 advantage.
Lyndonville took the final four bouts on pins by Cheyenne Tackley (189), Allan Heideman (215) and Sam Doolan (285) and an injury default win by Payton Grabowski.
