Trojans late surge downs Mustangs

Pulling away in the final period, West Seneca East posted a 48-34 win over visiting Medina in a non league boys basketball game this evening.

Leading 37-30 after three quarters, the Trojans outpointed the Mustangs 11-4 in the final stanza to claim the win.

The Trojans led 17-11 after one period and 33-22 at the half.

Anthony Bowman and Joe Cecchini each scored 11 for Medina as Davis Berry added 8, Jarin Rhim 3 and Amari Soule 2.

Medina is now 1-3.

RAC 73, Lyndonville 35

Building up a 32-14 half-time lead, Rochester Academy Charter went on to defeat host Lyndonville 73-35 in a non league contest.

Noah Poler scored 16 and Trenton Muck 14 for Lyndonville.

Roy-Hart 62, Cleve Hill 55

Vinny Buscarino scored 24, Aiden Petrie 17 and Jamel Johnson Jr. 14 to lead Roy-Hart past Cleveland Hill 62-55 in  non league game.

The Rams, which led 27-20 at the half, next host Wilson on DEcember 21 in the Niagara-Orleans League opener.
