A late three goal scoring burst earned Tri Town a 6-3 win over Medina/Lyndonville in a Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League U17 Division game Wednesday evening at Lyndonville.

Breaking away from a 3-3 deadlock, Tri Town erupted for 3 goals in the final 8 minutes on an own goal, a rebound off a missed penalty shot and a breakaway to claim the win.

Medina/Lyndonville had grabbed a 2-1 lead midway through the first half as Cory Bricourt scored at the 20 minute mark off an assist from Evan Silversmith and Trenton Jones tallied 5 minutes later on a header off a throw-in from Evan Horn.

Tri Town pulled even with a goal just before half-time and then regained a 3-2 advantage with a tally 15 minutes into the second half.

Medina/Lyndonville did rally back into a 3-3 tie when DaRon Bellan scored with 10 minutes remaining off an assist from Devin Rounds but Tri Town answered with the decisive 3 goal burst to claim the win.
