Tri County Yellow icers are No. 1 seed
The regular season champion Tri County Yellow team is the top seed for this coming weekend’s Empire Amateur Hockey League division playoffs.
Tri County will open with a semifinal contest on Saturday at Webster against the winner of Thursday’s quarterfinal game between No. 5 Monroe County and No. 4 Perinton Jasie.
No. 2 seed Perinton Stantz will play in the other semifinal against the winner of Thursday’s quarterfinal between No. 6 Tri County Green and No. 3 Batavia.
The championship game will be played at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Webster.
The Tri County Yellow team went 18-1-1 in the league and 23-2-2 overall during the regular season.
