Tri County icers top Rochester in scrimmage
The Tri County Midget Yellow team downed host Rochester 7-1 in a hockey scrimmage on Wednesday.
Tri County jumped out to a 4-0 first period lead on goals by Josh Wood, Jake Esposito, Ryan Wells and Ian McGraw.
Patrick Ricker then scored 2 goals and John Pilon 1 in the second period.
The Yellow team next opens the Empire Amateur Hockey League season on Nov. 6 agains the Tri County Green team.
