Tri County stays perfect in league action
Jumping out to a 2-0 first period lead, the Tri County Midget Divison Yellow team went on to defeat Monroe County 5-0 today to remain undefeated at 13-0 in Empire Amateur Hockey League competition.
Patrick Ricker and John Pilon scored the opening epriod goals.
Tri County later put a lock on the victory by scoring three times in the third period on tallies by Ricker, Pilon and Jake Esposito.
Nick Ray earned the shutout in goal as Tri County improves to 18-1-1 overall.
