Tri County icers rally late to earn tie
The Tri County Midget hockey team rallied for two third period goals to earn a 2-2 tie with Monroe County today.
Trailing 2-0, Tri County got on the scoreboard midway through the third period when Patrick Ricker scored off an assist from Tucker Trask.
Josh Gimeli then scored the equalizer for Tri County on a tip-in.
Nate Wildtick in goal anchored the defense for Tri County.
Monroe County had scored once in each of the first two periods.
Now at 0-4-1, Tri County next faces Monroe County next Sunday.
