Tri County icers outlast Perinton
The Tri County Midget Yellow team bested Perinton 8-5 Saturday to stay undefeated in New York Amateur Hockey League competition at 7-0 (12-1-1 overall).
Tri County jumped out to a 3-1 first period lead on goals by John Pilon, Ryan Wells and James Hapeman.
Two goals by Patrick Ricker and one by Pilon in the second period kept Tri County up 6-4.
Tri County then closed out the win on third period goals by Hapeman and Pilon who completed his hat-trick.
