Tri County icers earn split at Falls Tourney
The Tri County Bantam Travel hockey team went 2-2 this past weekend at the Niagara Falls Championship Cup Tournament.
Tri County opened with a 3-1 victory over Southtowns as Mike Holding scored 2 goals and Jeremiah Rausch 1.
West Seneca then downed Tri County 4-1. Rausch netted Tri County’s lone goal.
Rebounding, Tri County bested Canandaigua 5-2 as Alonzo Storey and Rausch each scored 2 goals and Patrick Ricker 1.
Tri County then dropped an 8-2 decision to Amherst in the semifinals as Holding and Jake Esposito each netted a goal.
Tri County finishes the season with a 15-18-2 record.
