The Tri County Bantam team capped off their Western New York Amateur Hockey League season with a pair of wins this weekend at Brockport by scores of 6-4 over Monroe County and 8-1 over Perinton.

Tri-County jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead on Saturday on goals by Jeremiah Rusch and Dominic Viola but Montroe County pulled even before the end of the period.

Again in the second period the Golden Eagles grabbed a 3-2 lead on a goal by Rausch only to see Monroe retie the contest.

The third period likewise saw Tri County go up 4-3 on another tally by Rausch but again Monroe rallied to knot the score.

Tri County finally regained the lead for good on a goal by Patrick Ricker with two minutes remaining. Rausch added an empty net goal to round out the scoring.

Viola then scored 3 goals, Ricker 2 and Jake Esposito, Rausch and Trevor Wiesner 1 each in today’s victory over Perinton.
