Tri-County hockey team tunes up with win
The Tri-County Midget hockey team tuned up for the upcoming season by scoring an 8-2 scrimmage game win over Webster today at Brockport.
Tri-County jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead on two goals by Chase Froman and one by Matt Neilson.
Second period goals by Jake Esposito, Aaron Shefflin and Froman upped the advantage to 6-1.
In the third period goals by Patrick Ricker and Neilson capped off the Tri-County scoring parade.
In all a total of seven Orleans County players are on the Tri-County roster this eason including Froman, Ricker, Esposito, John Pilon, Max and James Hapeman and Grant Moy.
Tri-County is scheduled to open the regular season against Canandaigua on November 10.
