Staying undefeated, the Tri County Midget Hockey team earned a win and a tie this weekend.

Tri County defeated Rochester 10-4 Friday and then tied Perinton 4-4 today.

Breaking away from a 3-3 deadlock, Tri County scored four unanswered goals in the second period to key the win over Rochester. Chase Froman, John Pilon, Josh Wood and Patrick Ricker took turns scoring those goals.

Tri County then put a lock on the victory by scoring three times in the third period on goals by Pilon, Aaron Sheflin and Max Hapeman.

Pilon, Ricker and David Archibald also each scored a goal in the first period.

Tri County built up a 4-2 lead against Perinton as Ricker and Jake Exposito scored in the first period and Josh Gimeli and Ricker in the second.

However, Perinton rallied for a goal late in the second period and another midway through the third to earn the tie.

Tri County is now 6-0-1 in the league and 7-0-1 overall.
