Tri County hockey team blanks Batavia
Getting goal production from seven different players, the Tri County Midget hockey team shutout Batavia 8-0 on Saturday.
Tri County jumped out to a commanding 4-0 lead in the first period on goals by Chase Froman, Josh Wood, Matt Nielson and Patrick Ricker.
Second period goals by Grant Moy and Nico Weber upped the lead to 6-0.
Another goal by Weber and one by James Hapeman in the third period closed out the Tri County point parade.
Nate Wildrick earned the shutout in goal.
Improving to 5-0 in the Empire Amateur Hockey Conference and 6-0 overall, Tri County next faces the Rochester Youth team on December 7.
