Tri-County Bantam icers score two wins

The Tri-County Bantam Travel team scored a pair of victories this weekend in Western New York Amateur Hockey League action.

The Eagles blanked the Perinton Blades 5-0 on Saturday as Tucker Johnson registered the shutout, Patrick Ricker had 2 goals and Jake Esposito had 3 assists. Josh Wood, Carter Augello and Alonzo Storey also each netted a goal.

Today, Tri-County downed the Buffalo Regals 6-2 as Mike Holding scored 3 goals, Trevor Wiesner 2 and Storey 1.

The Eagles are now 7-4-1 in the league and 9-10-1 overall.

Batavia Ramparts improve to 12-0
The Batavia Ramparts traveled to Fredonia and came away a 14-0 winner.

Eight different players scored goals as Jed Reese had 4, Max Hutchins 3, Vinnie DiRisio 2 and Dominic Peracciny, Zach Geitner, Corey Saj,  Derrick Fedus, and Matt Frieday 1 each.

Zach Howard posted the shutout in net, his fifth of the season.

The Ramparts have two games next weekend, Saturday in Brockport against Tri- County and a Sunday home contest against Jamestown.

Tri-County Pee Wee wins twice
This weekend the Tri-County PeeWee Travel hockey team traveled through the winter weather to bring home victories against the Jamestown Lakers and Olean Arrows.

On Saturday, they skated against the undefeated Jamestown team in a tough battle that entered the 3rd period scoreless. With 9:17 remaining in the 3rd period Landen Schwab opened the scoring for the Eagles. With less than 2 minutes remaining, Brian Hartman secured the game with an empty net goal. Henry Schultz added a 3rd goal with less than a minute remaining.  The goalie, Hayden Watt played excellent in the shutout as well.

On Sunday, the Eagles easily defeated Olean by a score of 7-1. Josh Esposito open the scoring in the first minute of play with an assist by William Kennard. Carson Bader had the next 5 goals for the Eagles. Brenna Munn closed out the scoring with the final goal. Schultz had 3 assists in the win.
