Tri-County Bantam icers rally late for win

Trailing 3-1 in the third period, the Tri-County Bantam Travel Team rallied for three late goals to nip the Niagara Ice Hawks 4-3 today in a Western New York Amateur Hockey League game at SUNY Brockport.

Jeramiah Rausch, Luke Leach and Jake Esposito each scored a goal to lead the Golden Eagles rally.

Trevor Wiesner netted the first goal of the game for Tri-County which is now 5-4-1 in the league and 7-10-1 overall.

On Saturday, the Golden Eagles lost 3-1 at the Erie Lions as Cam Smith scored the lone goal.

This past Monday, the Golden Eagles dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to Cazenovia as Rausch scored 2 goals and Carter Augello 1.

Pee Wee Golden Eagles win, tie

The Tri-County PeeWee travel hockey team had two games this weekend after losing in the semi-final game of the Riverworks tournament last weekend.

On Saturday the Golden Eagles went to Fredonia and won 7-2. Carson Bader led the way with 3 goals and 2 assists. Brian Hartman netted 2 goals. Maija Young and Henry Schultz each had a goal.

Today, the Golden Eagles tied the Niagara Ice Hawks 3-3 in a physical battle. Young had 2 goals and an assist and Bader a goal.
