Tourneys highlight holiday week schedule
One basketball and two wrestling tournaments will highlight the action for this holiday week of area high school sports action.
The lone basketball tournament is at Genesee Community College where Roy-Hart will take on LeRoy in the semifinals of the Large School Division at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Attica will face Batavia in the other semi.
The consolation and championship games in the Large School Division are scheduled for Thursday.
Lyndonville will be competing in the 10 team Bolivar-Richburg Wrestling Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Albion, Medina and Roy-Hart/Barker will all be competing in the Akron Wrestling Tournament. The JV competition is scheduled for Tuesday and the varsity matches for Wednesday.
Two non league basketball games are also on tap. Lyndonville is scheduled to visit Medina in a girls game at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Medina is slated to host Bennett in a non league boys contest at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
