Tournaments will highlight the holiday week
Two area boys basketball tournaments will highlight this holiday week’s high school sports action.
On Wednesday, Roy-Hart will face Attica at 3 p.m. in the opening round of the Batavia Lions Club Tournament at Genesee Community College. The consolation and final round games are scheduled for Friday.
The Kendall Tournament will get underway on Friday with Medina vs. East Rochester at 4 p.m. and CG Finney vs. Kendall at 7 p.m. The consolation and title games are scheduled for 2:15 and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Also on Wednesday, Medina will host Maryvale in a non league boys basketball game at 12:30 p.m.
On Friday, Lyndonville will entertain Medina in a non league girls basketball game at 12:30 p.m. and Holley will visit Pembroke at 7 p.m. in a Genesee Region League boys basketball contest.
On the wrestling mats, Lyndonville will be competing in the Bolivar-Richburg Tournament on Thursday and Friday while Roy-Hart/Barker will take part in the Akron Tournament on Saturday..
