Top 21 runners earn spots on 2024 Niagara-Orleans All-League

CARLTON – A pack of runners sprints at the start of the girls Niagara-Orleans All League race on Saturday at Lakeside State Park.

Some of the fastest runners took a wrong turn during the race, which added to their times.

The top seven runners earned first team all-league, with numbers 8 through 14 on the second team and 15 through 21 named honorable mention.

The top three finishers in the boys race compete during Saturday’s race, where part of the course is along the shoreline of Lake Ontario at Lakeside Beach State Park. Liam Betteridge of Newfane finished first, with Peyton Wagner of Barker in second, and Josiah Rodriguez of Royalton-Hartland in third.
