8 a.m. – Senior Council Stand Opens

8 a.m.  – Western Dressage at Carlos Marcello Arena

9 a.m.  – Dog Show, Agility Competition (Classes 23-30) at Show Arena

9:30 a.m. – Youth Ag Olympics Fun Activities. South Lawn

10 a.m. – $7 Admission per Car Starts

10 a.m. – All Buildings Open

10 a.m. – Grand Master Showman Workshop starting in Show Arena

12 p.m. – Leader’s Pie Stand Opens

Pam Maryjanowski of Root Farms serves chicken and corn on the cob during Thursday’s chicken barbecue at the Orleans County 4-H Fair. Maryjanowski’s mother-in-law Lorraine Root also helped serve the meals and so did Maryjanowski’s daughter, Nicole Dresser. The Cooperative Extension served 1,000 of the dinners.

12 p.m. – Calf Feeding and Care Demonstrations at Cattle Barn

1 – 2 p.m. – NYS Disaster Preparedness Corp, free presentation at Talis Equity Stage

3 – 10 p.m. – Main Event Amusements $20 Unlimited Ride Wristband. Midway

3 p.m. – Horse Judging Contest at Carlos Marcello Arena

4 p.m.  – Royalty Questionnaires Due. Fair Office

4 – 8 p.m. – Medina Lions Club Free Vision Screenings at Education Center

4 p.m.  – Agripuppets Entertainment Show at Agripuppets Stage

Gracie Batt, 6, of Albion competes in the Small Fry Pedal Tractor Pull. Alden Cayea of Medina is behind her and helping to run the event. Gracie is the daughter of Robert Batt, executive director of the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Orleans County, which puts on the fair.

5 p.m.  – Friday Night Fish Fry: Sponsored by Renovation Lodge #97, $11 full or $8 children’s, at Curtis Pavilion

5 to 7 p.m. – Magic Joe and His Amazing Magic Anywhere! Strolling Act

5:30 p.m. – Classic Car Cruise-In. Education Center Lot

5:30 to 8:30 p.m. – BalloonMania! Free Entertainment. Lartz Building

6 p.m. – Set Up for Band. Talis Equity Stage

6 p.m.  – Registration Ends for Small Fry Pedal Tractor Pull Fair Office

6 p.m.  – Grand Master Showman. Livestock Areas
