8 a.m. – Senior Council Stand Opens

8 a.m. – Gymkhana Horse Show. Carlos Marcello Arena

10 a.m. –  All Buildings Open

10 a.m. to noon – Ministry of Concern’s Just Friends E3 team youth mentoring program with kids coloring, crafts, and face painting. Trolley Building

10:30 a.m. – Cat Show. Show Arena

Olivia Hansen, 14, jumps on a trampoline over a rope swung by her father Shane Hansen. Five members of the family from Florida perform in Hansen’s Spectacular Acrobatic Sensations. Olivia’s two younger sisters are also part of the show.

11:10 a.m. – “Iron Chef” 4-H Youth Cooking Contest starts at Talis Equity Stage

12 p.m. – Small Animal Grand Master Showman Competition at Wachob Pavilion

12 p.m. – Leader’s Pie Stand Opens. Davis Building

12 p.m. – Calf Feeding and Care Demonstrations. Cattle Barn

12:10 p.m. – “Iron Chef” 4-H Youth Contest Judging at Talis Equity Stage

1 p.m. – Registration Ends for Small Fry Pedal Tractor Pull by Fair Office

The Albion Fire Department volunteered to cook burgers and hot dogs and wait on customers on Friday evening at 4-H Senior Council Stand. Fred Piano, left, Harry Papponetti and Gregg Marston, right, are ready for the next order. Dawn Marciszewski manages the stand and is a member of the Albion Fire Department. The AFD has been volunteering the past four fairs on Friday evenings. The Roy-Hart FFA also volunteered this week in the Stand. Marciszewski said organizations are welcome to spend a few hours helping in the busy Stand.

1:30 p.m. – Small Fry Pedal Tractor Pull Pedal Tractor Course: Fair Office

2 to 4 p.m. – Magic Joe and his Amazing Magic Anywhere! Strolling Act

2 to 2:30 p.m. – Cow Café: Milk Tasting with Orleans 4-H Dairy Club at Ag Education Area

3 to 5 p.m. – BalloonMania! Free Entertainment. Lartz Building

3 p.m. – Small Fry Pedal Tractor Pull – Championship run of all first place finishers from throughout the week, Pedal Tractor Course: Fair Office

4 p.m. –  Awards Ceremony and Crowning of the Fair Royalty at Curtis Pavilion

4 to 8 p.m. – Medina Lions Club Free Vision Screenings at Education Center

4 p.m. – Agripuppets Entertainment Show! Agripuppets Stage

There are many food vendors selling concessions on the fairgrounds, especially in the area by the Midway.

4 to 6 p.m. – 89.1 the Point Radio Station

4:30 p.m. – Hansen’s Spectacular Acrobatic Sensations at Lawn South of the Knights Building

6 p.m. – Set up for Band. Talis Equity Stage

6 to 8 p.m. – BalloonMania! Free Entertainment. Lartz Building

6 p.m. – Agripuppets Entertainment Show! Agripuppets Stage

6 to 10 p.m. – Main Event Amusements $20 Unlimited Ride Wristband (Tickets purchased this block good 6-10 p.m. only) Midway

6:30 p.m. – Market Auction Preview & Reception. Show Arena

6:30 p.m. – Hansen’s Spectacular Acrobatic Sensations on Lawn South of the Knights Building

Young Explosives put on the fireworks show on Friday night.
