Photos by Tom Rivers: This kangaroo from Spirit Wind Farms in Sanborn is greeted by fair-goers near the cattle barn. Spirit Wind Farms will be at the fair all week with the kangaroos, a macaw, a tortoise and other creatures.

8 a.m. – Senior Council Stand Opens

8 a.m. – English Horse Show. Carlos Marcello Arena

10 a.m. – $7 Admission per Car Starts

10 a.m. – All Buildings Open

3 to 10 p.m. – Main Event Amusements $20 Unlimited Ride Wristbands. Midway

Cullen Bannister, 2, of Carlton sits on a John Deere tractor and pretends to be driving. There is a big tractor display at the fair and kids are welcome to sit in the driver’s seats.

Qasim Huzair, 15, of Lyndonville performs “Moving Out” by Billy Joel during karaoke on Monday. Qasim qualified for Saturday’s finals. His 12-year-old brother, Amir, also qualified after singing “House of Gold” by 21 Pilots.
