Today will be another scorcher; No relief from 90-degree days until Saturday

It will be another hot day today, with a high temperature forecast for 93 in Orleans County. A heat advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Friday for Orleans County and much of western and central New York.

The 90-degree hot streak continues Friday with a high near 92. That would make it six straight 90-degree days in the county.

Saturday won’t be as hot, with a high of 85, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

The highs will be then be 84 on Sunday, 83 on Monday, 85 on Tuesday and then a return to the 90s on Wednesday with a high of 91.
