MEDINA – Supportive Care of Orleans/Hospice is bringing back a popular fundraiser, which had previously taken place for 10 years before Covid.

A Toast to Hospice is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Leonard Oakes Estate Winery on Route 104 in Medina.

A maximum of 300 tickets will be sold at $30 per ticket. This includes admission to the event, a complimentary wine glass, one glass of wine, food and live music. In addition, names will be drawn every half hour to win a bottle of wine.

“Hospice is fortunate to have the support of many small businesses and individuals in the community,” according to Maggie Stewart, development coordinator. “We are so grateful and appreciative of our community members and businesses for their outgoing support, generosity and commitment of Support Care of Orleans. We can’t wait to celebrate on a beautiful night with all our friends across Orleans County.”

There will also be a basket raffle and silent auction at the event.

Anyone with questions may contact Tammy Chmylak, administrative assistant, at tchmylak@scorleans.org; Stewart at mstewart@scorleans.org; or by calling (585) 589-0809 and asking for Tammy or Maggie.

Tickets may be purchased or donations made by logging on to Supportive Care of Orleans website.
