TigerSharks score sweep over Seahorses
Akron swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this evening.
The TigerSharks downed the Seahorses 103-41 in the boys’ meet and 91-69 in the girls’ competition..
Aiden Polkowski was a double winner in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke and Colton Cleveland won both the 500 Free and 100 Breaststroke for the Akron boys squad which improves to 6-1.
Henry Rigerman won the 100 Free for Medina which is now 0-8.
The Akron girls were led by a trio of individual event double winners as Audrey Garverick took the 200 Free and 500 Free, Avery Haak the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke and Mayah Harris the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke.
Maddy Satkowski was a double winner for Medina in the 50 Free and 100 Free.
The Akron girls are now 6-1 and Medina 1-7.
