Tigers win G-R soccer home opener

Opening the home portion of the schedule on a high note, Lyndonville shutout Pembroke 4-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Mason Nicholson opened the scoring for Lyndonville and Sebastian Temich and Colton Smith followed up with goals to give the Tigers a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime. Smith’s goal came with just a second to go.

Temisch also netted Lyndonville’s lone second half goal.

In another G-R game, Byron-Bergen built up a 4-0 halftime advantage and went on to defeat Holley 5-0.

G-R Volleyball

Notre Dame 25-25-25, Lyndonville 22-17-21

Ashlee Stephens had 9 assists and 4 digs, Lorelei Dillenbeck 5 aces and 4 kills, Addie Dillenbeck 6 kills and 2 aces and Haley Shaffer 9 digs for Lyndonville in the three set loss to Notre Dame.
