Tigers will host Bees in sectional opener
Seeded No. 8, Lyndonville will face a familiar foe to open the Section V Class C3 baseball playoffs as the Tigers will host Genesee Region League foe No. 9 Byron-Bergen at 5 p.m. Monday.
The Bees just nipped the Tigers 6-4 this past week to close out the G-R season.
The winner will face top seeded Bolivar-Richburg in the quarterfinals later this week.
In Class C2, G-R Division 1 champion No. 3 seed Kendall will host the winner of the No. 11 Pembroke vs. No. 6 Warsaw game later this week.
In Class C3, No. 10 seed Holley visits No. 7 Alexander at 5 p.m. Monday. The winner will face No. 2 Letchworth in the quarterfinals.
