Tigers use big rally to edge Dragons
Trailing by as much as 9-1, Lyndonville rallied to nip visiting Pembroke 12-11 in a Genesee Region League baseball game this afternoon.
A four run fifth inning highlighted by a two-run single by Justin Higgins got Lyndonville rolling.
The Tigers followed up with a pair of runs in the sixth inning on a two-run single by Payton Grabowski.
Lyndonville then picked up the game winner in the bottom of the seventh as Trenton Muck walked, stole second, advanced to third on a sacrifice by Michael Marker and came home on a passed ball.
In another G-R contest, Holley and host Elba battled to a 10-10 tie in 10 innings before darkness halted play. Each team scored twice in the 10th inning.
