Tigers top Trojans to clinch tie for G-R title

Clinching at least a tie for the Genesee Region League wrestling title, Lyndonville posted a key 48-15 victory over visiting Alexander this evening.

Sebastian Temich (152) came from behind to score a key pin in 3:23 over Alexander’s Kaden Lyons to seal the victory for the Tigers.

The Tigers also got pins from Dillon Burt-Hodgins (145), Maddox Stirk (172) and Rodney Davis (189) along with decision wins by Sam Doolan (215) and Avery Wilcox (285).

Lyndonville will host Byron-Bergen next Wednesday to determine the league championship. Alexander has already defeated Byron-Bergen
