Tigers to host B3 wrestling sectionals Sat.
For the third year in a row Lyndonville is hosting the Section V Class B3 wrestling championship. The competition is Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. with a total of 14 teams competing.
Joining the host Tigers in the competition will be defending champion Byron-Bergen, Alfred-Almond, Arkport-Canaseraga, Avoca/Prattsburgh/Hammondsport, Bolivar-Richburg, Caledonia-Mumford, Campbell-Savona, Dundee-Bradford, Fillmore/Keshequa, Perry, Red Jacket, South Seneca and Warsaw.
Lyndonville’s Ty Holmes is seeded No. 1 at 131 lbs. and Chanse Amsdill No. 2 at 108.
Holley-Kendall will be competing in the Section V Class B1 championships on Saturday at Wayland-Cohocton.
Hunter Jewell-Smith is seeded No. 1 at 285 and Will Kruger No. 2 at 160 for Holley-Kendall.
