Tigers down host Blue Devils; Hawks win
Improving to 9-1 in the league and 14-1 overall, Lyndonville scored a 58-48 victory over host Attica this evening in a Genesee Region contest.
Nathan Hydock scored a game high 23 points and Nathan Dillenbeck netted 13 to lead the Lyndonville attack as Nathan Poler and Russell Stephens both added 7, Zach Johnson 6 and Matt Hess 2.
Dawson Nelson led Alexander with 21.
Lyndonville held leads of 10-8 after one period, 27-20 at the half and 38-31 at the three-quarter mark. Hydock scored 6 in the second and 4 in the third and Dillenbeck 5 in the third.
The Tigers then locked up the win by outpointing the Blue Devils 20-17 in the final stanza as Hydock scored 9 and Dillenbeck hit a pair of threes.
Alexander 64, Kendall 54
Alexander downed visiting Kendall 64-54 to improve to 9-1 in G-R competition.
Ryan Davis scored 19 to pace Alexander which led 33-24 at the half.
Nate Warters took game high honors for Kendall with 22 as Mason Kuhn netted 15, John Rath 7 and Derek Edick 6. Warters also had 8 rebounds and Rath 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
Holley 44, Wheatland-Chili 35
Kohl Morgan scored 17 and Carson Major 13 to lead Holley to a 44-35 G-R win over Wheatland-Chili.
The Hawks led by narrow margins of 22-19 at the half and 33-29 at the three-quarter mark. Major then had five free throws and a basket in the final stanza to help the Hawks lock up the win.
