Tigers romp to third victory

Jumping out to a big early lead, Lyndonville went on to blank visiting Webster Christian 11-0 this afternoon in a non league baseball game.

Leading 1-0, the Tigers broke the contest open by erupting for six runs in the second inning highlighted by a two-run double by Justin Edwards, an RBI double by Evan Mllleville and a two-run single by Austin Buckland.

Edwards and Milleville both finished with three hits while winning pitcher Ty Hrovat and Ed Schildt two as the Tigers had a total of 15 base raps.

On the mound, Hrovat hurled a two hitter with five strikeouts.

Now at 3-0, Lyndonville next hosts CSAT in a non league contest at 1 p.m. Monday.
