Tigers outlast Hornets for 15-12 win

Lyndonville needed a three run scoring burst in the top of the seventh inning to outlast host Oakfield-Alabama 15-12 this afternoon in a key Genesee Region League Division II game.

Doubles by Eric Neace and Trevor Bentley highlighted the decisive late uprising for Lyndonville which also including a single by Brandon Schoolcraft and a sacrifice by Michael Wells.

Jacob Hoffee had a total of 3 hits for Lyndonville as AJ Buckland, Ty Hrovat, Neace, Wells and James Ianni each chipped in with 2.

The Tigers improve to 7-3 while the Hornets slip to 6-4 in league action.
