Tigers nipped in first night home contest

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – History was made this evening as Lyndonville hosted its first ever night soccer game. Portable lights were brought in for the boys non league contest which saw Rochester Prep edge Lyndonville 4-3. Colton Smith scored two goals and Mason Nicholson one for the Tigers.

Here Lyndonville’s Allen Heideman sends the ball up field as Mason Nicholson moves in for support during first half action of the contest which was tied 2-2 at the half. Brendan Dukes defends for Rochester Prep.
