Tigers trio qualifies for state championships
Lyndonville’s senior trio of Jeff Gress Jr. (126), Dustin Joy (145) and Dustin Hinckley (160) have all earned wildcard berths for the upcoming state wrestling championships.
Gress and Hinckley both placed second and Joy third at the Section V state qualifier championships this past weekend.
Joy is 47-5, Gress 46-7 and Hinckley 37-5 on the season.
The state championships will be held February 24 and 25 at Albany.
