Tigers go 3-2 at the “Battle in the Ville”

The host Tigers went 3-2 at Lyndonville’s annual “Battle in the Ville” Duals wrestling tourney today.

The Tigers defeated CSAT 50-21, St. Mary’s of Lancaster 72-0 and Rush-Henrietta 48-18 but lost to Webster Schroeder 39-33 and Pittsford 48-21.

Pittsford captured the tourney title by going 5-0 as Schroeder was 4-1, Lyndonville 3-2, Rush-Henrietta 2-3. CSAT 1-4 and St. Mary’s 0-5.

Christian Garver (110), Sebastian Temich (152) and Payton Grabowski (172) all went 5-0 on the day for Lyndonville as Patrick Hargrave (160) and Sam Doolan (285)  both had four wins and Shannon Withey (118), Brody Hazel (126), Ty Holmes (132) and Alex Farrell (138) three each.

Temich registered 4 pins, Farrell, Hargrave and Grabowski 3 and Garver 2.
