Tigers down Trojans for 10th victory

Getting off to a fast start, Lyndonville erupted for 5 runs in the first inning and 9 more in the second in route to posting a 19-3 victory over host Alexander this afternoon to improve to 10-3 in Genesee Region League baseball action.

Nathan Dillenbeck had 3 hits, including a double and a home run, for the Tigers as Casey Winiecki, Rolland Balcerzak, Jack Whipple, Alex Barry and Anthony Moule each chipped in with 2 hits.

Lyndonville will next host Holley at 11 a.m. Saturday to close out the G-R season.

JV Baseball

Kendall blanked Elba 12-0 Thursday in a JV contest as James Fox struck out 5 over the first three innings and Zach Barrett banged out 2 hits.
